This guide is from Qogito, an AI personal advisor — not a chatbot and not a therapist, but a board of four advisors (Devon, Mara, Sam, and Kai) who think a question through with you from different angles instead of just agreeing, through a real-time group conversation with you.

Every product worth talking about eventually has things worth saying. Decisions got made a certain way; a feature works for unexpected reasons; people use it in ways you didn’t design for. That material usually lives in a Slack channel and evaporates. The Journal is where we put it instead.

Two things in one place

The Journal has two distinct streams, and we want to be clear about the difference.

Decision-Making is the evergreen side — essays on how to think through hard choices, navigate uncertainty, and make better decisions without becoming a spreadsheet about your own life. These pieces stand alone. You don’t need to know anything about Qogito to find them useful.

From Qogito is the living-product side. What we built, why we built it, how the four-advisor system actually works, what we’ve seen in real conversations that surprised us. If you use Qogito — or are considering it — this stream is for you.

Both matter. We publish in both. The category label on each piece tells you which you’re reading.

What to expect

We’re not chasing a content calendar. A piece comes out when it has something real to say. That might mean two pieces in one week and nothing for three. But we’re committed to keeping this a genuinely active publication — and if you visit the Journal six months from now, it should look meaningfully different from today.

What we’ll publish:

  • Essays on decision-making, emotional intelligence, and self-reflection (the thinking stream)
  • Methodology pieces: how the advisors reason, how Devon differs from Mara, what anti-sycophancy actually means in practice
  • Honest product updates: what we launched, what changed, and why
  • “How people are using it” — real patterns from real conversations, always anonymised

What we won’t publish: content marketing that exists to rank for a keyword but has nothing to say. There’s plenty of that already.

A note on authorship

You’ll see “The Qogito Team” on most pieces for now. As we develop our editorial voice, specific people will start putting their name on things. We think that matters — you should know who’s writing and whether to trust them. For the moment, the team byline is honest: these pieces are genuinely collaborative. That will get more specific over time.
